I was going to be an assistant until I retired. My boss's boss had a different idea. Fired the activities director and put me in her place. Now I am back peddling to get certified.

I was waiting for funding to come through for a position that was promised to me. While I was waiting a friends mom who worked in activities injured her back. They needed a temp replacement and asked me to cover for a few months while I waited for my sp ed job. I wound up liking the elderly better.
