2015-10-20 06:32:28 PM sheilabryce Thanks Nancy, I'm very proud of the women that stepped and made these delicious dishes. They worked very hard on them and served them very diligently. On the ornament discussion. I made contact with a man at a local woodworking store. He's amazing. He lets our woodworking club come to the store. And he usually makes momentos for them to take home. This month, he's going to show them how to make a wooden ornaments, and let them paint and stain them. We'll display them on a wooden christmas tree. Very exciting! I've been thinking a lot of the cold months coming ahead. And I believe very strongly that we are a community. This week it finally hit me in church. A coat drive!

2015-10-20 06:41:04 PM lmbondi I am not going to be able to use my boss as an advisor, due to many reasons, one of which is a cut back in hours. Are directors at other centers open to fulfilling this role?

2015-10-20 06:42:17 PM monigreen We have an activiies closet that we have all of our supplies in and someone donated a large cart for us to store the stuff on.
2015-10-20 06:42:23 PM sheilabryce If you guys are talking to me. It started out, with having our local lowes cut wood to make a life size Jenga set. They got to sand the wood, paint the wood, and finish the wood. And then we bought table top Jenga sets and put the model out and played . It was great! It's all sort of thought of as we go. We also had a building that the group said was, blah to come thru. So we built a libray out of wooden apple carts. Glued them, then designed or painted wooden letters for the word "Library", with a sign that says. "Take a book, leave a book" themed from woodstock
