We would say scripture, have time for others to speak of the resident who passed and then close with prayer. This allowed the residents to try and process the passing and assist with the grevience process.

Our main dining room is the only place that is large enough to hold approximately 10-15 wheelchairs (especially some of the larger bulky chairs). There are five doors that go to this room that has an attached small dining room also. So, on these five CLOSED doors there are signs that say, "Resident Council in Progress; please do not enter." Well, they come on in anyway. They did last week with the state ombudsman sitting in the crowd and one lady got busted for standing there listening. About the time that I was going over to let

For us, if they do have the AD then they are suppose to invite one department head because to many department heads become like the kitchen: too many chefs in the kitchen.
