So I found a bunch of bird pictures and facts, printed each bird/facts out on separate pages, and taped them up on walls along our walking route, and we walk and residents spot out birds...if they can read, have them read the facts, or read the facts to them.

I don't see that happening. It may on paper, but there is no respect for what I do and I already am turning against it. I hate to be a Debbie Downer because I really am trying. I love the residents and want to see the thrive but it's so hard when staff isn't willing to cooperate with you.
