2018-11-27 07:23:44 PM smccormick what type of angel tree do you do?
2018-11-27 07:23:45 PM kathyhughes Paige...we went through that...a resident would have to eat an entire field of pointesettias to even get a stomach ache...although for a few years we enjoyed watching the staff run around collecting them as they were convinced!
2018-11-27 07:23:47 PM nelsonalex123 how do yall do the christmas angel tree

2018-11-27 07:24:39 PM fredricksonelizabeth97 At my facility we do "giving trees" where I get a wish list from each resident, write the list on a paper ornament with a random number on it, and family members pick an ornament and buy those gifts. Then we have a surprise gift opening on Christmas Eve
2018-11-27 07:24:44 PM trinawh put up a christmas tree. put gift tags on the tree with the residents names. the other employees pick a resident to buy a present for
2018-11-27 07:24:46 PM dustylann We do the Angel Tree, this is the 3rd year and its a great hit!
2018-11-27 07:24:48 PM rbarthel the dirty santa? staff signs up. each person purchases a gift with a price limit, ours was $10. Then everyone is given a number, then numbers are also put in a hat - when your number is pulled you get to choose a gift. When it's the next person's turn they can either choose a new gift or steal the gift that was just opened... it was really fun
2018-11-27 07:24:50 PM ksutlief Shoot, I will take anyone who wants to come and carol with us1 Whether they come other times of the year or not...
2018-11-27 07:24:50 PM wanzaella we do the same trees every year
2018-11-27 07:24:58 PM angelagalloway Getting schools and the community to come into our facility has been near impossible. Is there a trick to getting them to come? Very frustrating!

2018-11-27 07:25:21 PM briannad we finally have new trees for the building
2018-11-27 07:25:29 PM kathyhughes Heather....I would ask each group that wanted to come into the facility to sing to pick one other month to come in. We had a list of things that they could do...and if they did not then we would refer them to another facility
2018-11-27 07:25:31 PM marshallp Angel tree: staff, family members, etc pick an "angel" with a residents name. then but a gift for them to put under tree
2018-11-27 07:25:46 PM ksutlief angelagalloway, schools are usually looking for places to showcase their choir. And you can call piano teachers, voice teacher. They need a place to have t heir recitals.

2018-11-27 07:26:42 PM kathyhughes We had the list ready for them and would make them pick a month...we would get the name and email of the person as well as the group contact and then remind them
