2014-03-06 06:52:59 PM debbie134 Planning them takes a bit of time, but nothing like tracking participation. It isn't taking attendance that is the proble. It is transferring that information into a monthly log which the facililty requires.

But the information still has to be either entered into the computer or transferred in writing. Plus, there needs to be separate additional entry for our residents under the age of 65 and any resiident receiving 1-1 visits.

I'm in group homes so the documentation isn't regulated, but is really important to let me know what's going on in each house.

2014-03-06 07:15:34 PM aholscher We just implemented the documentation where I am, and its been hard getting all the staff on board. They feel like they document too much already. I have to stress that activities are not extra. They are part of the care.

Yes, my staff does help with paperwork, but the residents complain if we end our daily programs 15 minutes before the end of our scheduled shifts. THey just brought it up in residents' council.
