Other than a yearly memorial, we don't have regular memorials for residents because they would be too frequent and depressing; however, a family member asked me if she could have a memorial for a resident who she thought was about to pass away. The woman pulled through so I didn't have to respond, but I wasn't sure what the best way to handle the situation was.

Our residents appreciate the service because they can say goodbye and share their memories.
