I couldnt belive when i heard someone say that they have structured activities in a dementia unit! How!? exercise is about only group thing i can maybe accomplish once a week. The more capable will attend the main exercise class

2015-05-19 06:41:19 PM barbb we've had the same dj every fri for years so we've gone to theme dances on fridays to shake things up-it was the exact same residents requesting the exact same songs every week. now we do fiesta, disco, 50s, 60s, etc so dif stuff gets played & now we're getting dif requests plus more dancing & participation. plus residents love decorating & making the decorations
