2015-10-27 06:23:31 PM nancyzmc Book clubs have been iffy for me - due to short attention span, lack of interest, differernces of opinions
2015-10-27 06:23:32 PM mliranzo94 the list is a good idea
2015-10-27 06:23:33 PM monigreen The tulips are all in bloom so we can drive for miles and see tulips and daffodills. Our residents love it

2015-10-27 06:24:33 PM kathyhughes "THE LIST" is a list of ideas that you give to groups wanting to come in to sing to your residents during Dec. You tell the groups that they can come in but they have to commit to another month to do something with your residents
2015-10-27 06:24:39 PM maryc2 easter hat parade and easter hunt with the kids
2015-10-27 06:25:09 PM janfred73 I like the list idea, :)

2015-10-27 06:25:26 PM sthorpe67 why is it that it seems to be the CHristmas time that is over populated with volunteers??
2015-10-27 06:25:32 PM kathyhughes yes
2015-10-27 06:25:32 PM ncooper6872 We do a mad hatter lucheon - my residents lookforward to creating there hats and showing them off.

2015-10-27 06:25:49 PM susieq4220 Little women... good idea

2015-10-27 06:27:51 PM kandra1 I like the drama club idea
2015-10-27 06:27:58 PM sullivan17 Very true RyanKlemmer. Christmas is also VERY commercialized anymore, but that's another topic. At least with activities and volunteers, the core meaning can be brought out with genuine cheer instead of gifts and money and grab bags all the time everywhere.
2015-10-27 06:28:05 PM susieq4220 I think children reading keeps more attention because it brings back memories of helping their own children.
2015-10-27 06:28:06 PM maryc2 thats is a great idea
