2016-06-14 06:58:16 PM wildmc00 I just wanted to share with we had State come in and was about serving the residents with activities and CNA's are required to provide a dining atmosphere. So the State Surveyor is right next ot us as we serve.. Keep in mind I'm educated in dietary and diet types..... So dietary sents a Mech Soft Diet Grapes... State lookinggg over my shoulder I' m reading the card to patient see grapes ... I knew that grapes are one of the top 10 choking foods and MECH SOFTS are not allowed to have them. So I think I'm being smooth I place the grapes off to the side and serve the tray after done. I grap the grapes and change it out with apple sauce S
