2016-10-11 06:51:49 PM sharonrwaltz our name is the Church of God Home, so that's the Christian denomination we're associated with, but we also have quite a few Catholics. We have two Protestant services a week and a Catholic mass once a month. We have an Estonian Orthodox resident currently, and she's the first person with that faith i.d. i've ever met. It's amazing what we learn from the residents. They love to talk about their beliefs and their faith. It gets them through the hard times.

2016-10-11 06:53:07 PM arepic I've had residents try to grope me, lift my shirt up and pull my pants down. Unfortunately all I could do was try to walk away and let the nurse know.
2016-10-11 06:53:08 PM sharonrwaltz touchy residents...well, up to a point it's okay. if it's endearing touch. i let them do it. if it gets innappropriate, you can pull away or dismiss yourself from the room.

2016-10-11 06:54:34 PM sharonrwaltz whatever their practices are, you can try to accomodate them. if they read new age books as a pagan, you can get those from the library.
