I am solo trying to fit in 3-5 admissions daily, care plan interviews with families and residents, MDS, QT and Annually assessments VA assessments, staff meetings, inservices, and conducting activities. Some how I find time to do my progress notes, monthly calendars, daily individual...it feels overwhelming at times and that is one particular reason I am taking this class. In hopes of better understanding

I have to start putting a tip jar out for manicures, LOL

Winners would be determined by the residents, and prizes given for fastest, best design, sleekest, and badest (or ugliest). What do you think...do you think anyone would find this activity offensive? (That's my biggest concern)

I'm going for the national certification so that even if I get a job in another state, I can still be the Director of Activities and not have to worry about going through a separate certification process.

2018-02-06 07:56:00 PM tashua1 I assume that since they are paying for MEPAP1 and expect me to stay at least a minimum of 1 year after completion then they will want me to become fully certified and take what steps necessary for me to obtain it.
