2018-02-22 07:13:18 PM nbeall yes.
2018-02-22 07:13:18 PM kathyhughes It is hard to deal with people who have issues
2018-02-22 07:13:18 PM joedavis1 our director gets independent and has to manage 3 departments no thanks
2018-02-22 07:13:34 PM ellise that's a lot of responsibility.
2018-02-22 07:13:37 PM kathyhughes Documentation takes time, but it is worth it
2018-02-22 07:13:42 PM brendarivest lol Joe our director manages 4 seperate buildings
2018-02-22 07:13:50 PM ellise I'm the director at my facility, but only over ltc and rehab.
2018-02-22 07:14:01 PM nbeall courtney- we have write up disciplines that go in employees files. I know it is the right thing to do but it is hard.
2018-02-22 07:14:11 PM ebroughton I only have 1 staff member that is younger than me. It can be awkward when I have to write them up, especially for dumb things. I had to write up one of my staff members (who is probably 50 years old) because she is being rude to kitchen staff when she picks up snacks. Like I shouldn't have to tell her that. It can be frustrating at times.
2018-02-22 07:14:15 PM joedavis1 i plan on working in a small memory care or skilled that focus on thise areas
2018-02-22 07:14:31 PM nbeall so I keep procrastinating in giving it. I am a hypocrit... I am laughing at myself I just said conflict is good. hahahaha

2018-02-22 07:14:43 PM amberrwetherill Disciplinary action and attendance are two different write ups to. Like right now she only has one more for disciplinary action. So when I have to write her up for attendance it is a whole different write up.

2018-02-22 07:28:41 PM kathyhughes You give them lots of yarn pieces...a hot nest prevents them from hatching

2018-02-22 07:30:17 PM joyful Same here
2018-02-22 07:30:27 PM ebroughton Birds are really tough. Residents always have their input on how the birds should be cared for, which ones we need to buy more of and no matter how many signs I post some residents will continue to feed those birds human food and they will continue to die. Ugh and then I get complaints about the birds dying.
