2017-05-16 06:42:52 PM susankent I am the Activity Assistant but my director only participates in one activity per month with me. the two days I am not there she has her volunteers doing the activities. so I know how exhausting that can be. this week alone we had Mothers day tea party, passed out roses to Mothers on Sunday, decorated with the crafts I had the patients do plus held our regular activity schedule.

2017-05-16 06:48:08 PM susankent ellen just keep on trying some times the will end up just following the others. or try giving them something else that they can handle themselves so you can handle the larger group as well.I have a few dementia patients that come to my activities and I just keep them closest to me and reassure them it's okay and some days I do get them to do a little bit.
