2016-05-24 06:23:09 PM mescuriola amorales, do you live in miami
2016-05-24 06:23:15 PM sashavowell i need to figure out how to get volunteers
2016-05-24 06:23:16 PM angiepenn7 It's just myself & 1 CNA for about 65 people. Very different function levels too! It's very hard becuase I am required in a lot of meetings and care plans, plus I am the bus driver (Transportation is split between 2 buildings & is often busy at the sister facility.) If my CNA takes time off or is suspended (happened once!) then I have to come in on my days off & cover them. Plus my paperwork & meeting inputs. It's very overwelming & often there is little support from other departments.
2016-05-24 06:23:18 PM csesteaga amorales i need a assistand here in Arizona
2016-05-24 06:23:19 PM ashxeve Thats awesome! Dedication pays off! Congrats on your spot!

2016-05-24 06:23:43 PM amorales yes i live in miami
2016-05-24 06:23:50 PM amorales wow in Arizona lol
2016-05-24 06:23:52 PM angiepenn7 Our building is 40% psych. So it is very challenging to find volunteers that can handle it & stay.
2016-05-24 06:23:55 PM ashxeve Advertise for your volunteers by spreading the word. reach out to your community like schools or banks and church.
2016-05-24 06:23:56 PM isabel1 thanks ms kathy. i guess they see how dedicated i am in what i am doing so... just like my dedication to finish this course on time, though some assignments are late.

2016-05-24 06:23:57 PM wildmc00 My company requires 7 days a week activities

2016-05-24 06:24:23 PM lakia1985 my company to activities everyday
2016-05-24 06:24:32 PM jkershmanrhodes i run into the problem with volunteers they just want a few hours less then 20 usually. its not worth the fee and process for that amount of time.
2016-05-24 06:24:40 PM dianed72 We have to have 7 days a week activities and always have someone on our memory care unit.

2016-05-24 06:25:04 PM kmunson My first 6 months I was working every wknd, then they hired another part time assist and now I get every other wknd off, I'll take what I can get
2016-05-24 06:25:12 PM angiepenn7 I had quite a few volunteers move or quit. It's very hard to fill the gap!
2016-05-24 06:25:13 PM wildmc00 Remember you still need to pass 3.0 MDS activities section F
2016-05-24 06:25:14 PM kathyhughes You can get credit...1/2
2016-05-24 06:25:21 PM teaves whats a caring way unit
