I have a santa suit to borrow, just need a volunteer for santa, a lady is coming to do Christmas photos with santa and residents the same day. I just have to cover the cost of paper and ink for photos. A local middle school is coming to sing in our Main Dining Room on the 8th. Two churches are coming to pass out gifts to residents on Christmas day. We also have outings to see the local christmas lights and an outing to a staff members house to make christmas cookies and make ginger bread houses.

I have put up a list of accepted channels, taken all movies off the unit that are unacceptable. I have told the unit supervisor, and inserviced the staff. Yet I still have to turn the channel! Nursing staff gets so mad at me, but it doesn't change. What next?

2016-11-10 07:40:39 PM dianed72 Kathy, aside from documenting how can i deal with a resident that bullies others dealing with the TV. The staff know and so does management but still nothing. I have started a behavior book on several residents but still nothing.
