Our facility christmas party is on Dec 18th and we will have pictures with santa. The photographer is bringing a background and a sleigh she built with two reindeer in the front. I cant wait. The residents are very excited.:)

2016-11-17 07:21:26 PM rgill One thing I found out last year when planning December was to not label a certain day as "ugly sweater day" since a lot of residents really love their holiday sweaters and don't think they are ugly! Just be careful how you word it to your residents!

2016-11-17 07:21:50 PM kateordway yes but send out a letter stating who you are and why you want their help ex: we want to make our residents holidays extra special this and would be willing to help us do this. send to all the local elementry schools. make your list of things like candy, sweats, shampoo, conditionder, etc, be sure to note no powder. any little extra items they want to add they are more than welcome. the response i got was so amazing and overwhelmig. when its done send the schools thank you notes with pics. its amazing!!!
