2018-04-12 06:31:55 PM susankent nancyathiel: resident council is for residents to voice their concerns and maybe new ideas. if there are concerns at resident council that you can resolve at that council meeting sometimes thats better. I have found that I have had to omit some items from my resident council minutes and report them directly by email to the departments mentioned. it does seem to get better resulte and lessens the attitudes from others. unfortunately activity department seem to get thrown under the bus alot.
2018-04-12 06:31:59 PM rkbaber02 We are having a travel day----in the morning we are having a discussion about camping with sensory items & making smores. The evening is a luau

2018-04-12 06:39:29 PM kat86 youre welcome =)
2018-04-12 06:39:30 PM susankent very few staff members involve themselves with activities or the residents unless they have to. our clinical staff is not very personable with their coworkers or our residents. most of them in my opinion are there just for a paycheck. that's really sad
2018-04-12 06:39:37 PM suerahn My budget depends on the census but it's not bad. The problem is that I have to spend my own money and get paid back which takes about 4-6 weeks.
2018-04-12 06:39:58 PM kathyhughes I have a question about Mother's Day...what do you do for ladies who are not Mothers?

2018-04-12 06:40:26 PM cassie10 I am wondering that too.. (Kathy)

2018-04-12 06:40:49 PM jadams69 i still have them come down to the dinner with a family member of if they want to bring a friend
2018-04-12 06:40:50 PM jjerger I ask them if they want to help. I have one who is not a mom but loves to help
2018-04-12 06:40:51 PM rbudd what are some differnt ideas for mothers day
2018-04-12 06:40:55 PM susankent suerahn: that's my situation. I spend my money, hopefully don't go over budget and submit an expense report and get paid some time.

2018-04-12 06:41:35 PM kathyhughes We would not call it Mothers Day or Fathers Day
2018-04-12 06:41:46 PM poirierheidi123 We have the family events in the summer so we can close down the parking lot and invite all family, residents and staff. It's so great. I love working for a small local company
