We did a virutal honor flight to washignton D.C. with my residents and a welcome home with people from the community. We were on t.v. it definatley is amazing :) if you ever get a chance to look up Upper Michigan Honor Flight that is who came in and did it...

I had one of those "great" ideas from a staff member, except it was our assistant DON so my reasoning with her didn't go far. She states that we need a men's group on our severe dementia unit with "higher functioning" activities. This unit does a lot of balloon games, etc. as their minds aren't sharp and they just sleep if we don't get them moving. So I'm trying to find something that will engage them and satisfy her request for a mens group
