Out of curiosity, why does a CNA have to be on the bus? We only occasionally have one on and that is when we need extra help due to mobility issues or memory care residents.

You should not need a CNA on the bus with you, just another person to be with the residents while you or the driver. But it's just my opinion and I don't know the full situation.

Famlies are not welcomed but you always have that one family member who finds their way in! We have the residents vote during resident counsile each month if they would like take out or what theme they want for the following month! for labor day I threw a big bbq where my parents came in to help host, and my dad flipped burgers with me so they could smell it cooking through the window so that defiently helps enhance the ecperience for them! a few months ago we did a big pasta night, but i had a few of the high functioning residents help me roll meatballs and the kitche

You could start a gardening club or cooking club. Maybe they prefer 1:1 and readinf to people. The sky is the limit.
