I went to my administrator at the begginning of the week asking for help. I already work 55 hours a week at the facility between full time activities and two LNA shifts a week. and have three kiddos at home, adding this class in left no time for the kiddos and I was getting burnt out. The administrator is letting me hire an LNA a few extra hours a week to do some of my school work at work now.

BE recepetive to there postivity or negativity and ask them for a solution if they shut id down. Offer to train them and help them.. thats what i do and it usualy goes well

2019-10-29 06:54:20 PM bethaldrich5 We have a cool organization of AD's around our area that get together and do workshops every couple of months. Each facility takes a different month and hosts. All attending facilities bring at least one calendar to show their activities offered and during the work shop the facility hosting does a few activities to show others. They also do work shops focused on AD things such as care plans or interviews.

Later on we'll honor everyone with an entertainment special. We have a singer who sings God Bless America and includes all verses which is very rare
2019-11-05 06:45:54 PM ruthknable Our facility does not have many veterans but we will honor those we have. Our sister facility always has a big breakfast and honor time. The one year, we had Rolling thunder come in and present awards to the veterans. it was really wonderful.
