2019-11-26 07:45:48 PM michelep We have two gentlemen that use motorized scooters...they like to go to the "Cenex" (gas station that sells food) but must cross a highway (NOT a major city highway). We have advised them against this but the ombudsman informed us that we really can't do the that, it's their right, even tho' it's a risk...with this one, it can be fatal :(

They'll look into everything from visualability of the intersection, timing allowed for pedestrian crossing and all. Most cities will provide extra time for crossing at particular intersections frequently used by "vulnerable" populations such as resident facilitesor schools
